Touched by Darkness
What happens when you find yourself among a sea of people but void of the warmth that comes from connection? A soul burdened by debilitating circumstances and forced to carry the weight of those who have made war against you. Your slanderous foes besiege you, demand to see you fall, and industriously work to rob you of everything you have built as they lash out and spread lies to destroy your moral character. Do you know this darkness I speak of? The pain and agony that stems from the unyielding onslaught of the fretful and immoral. I know this horror all too well and have found the value of the darkness that consumes them.
Come, step into the void with me and I will explain.
In this human experience we call life, I have found that there are many self-defeating constructs that we have imposed on ourselves. Systems filled with desired answers that remain undiscoverable because the masses have been socially engineered to utilize the wrong formulas to solve the presented equation. This pattern has led many astray. Individuals seek love in all the wrong places, there are communities of smiling faces and broken hearts, and suicides in declared paradise.
What has bewitched the nations to consume misinformation? Why dose society rage and make war on different generations? Is it that we have built our school of thought on poor foundations?
Yes.
Stockholm syndrome for this way of life has captivated us because we consistently choose self-gratifying lies that distract us to experience fleeting moments of illogical illation.
As I traversed the darkness, I have been able to see the faintest of light. This forever present light has illuminated from the source of all things, but the question posed in Eden, “did God really say?” has deluded human creation into thinking standards are based on human understanding and that the Creator must testify and stand trial.
The beauty in this tragedy is that the Almighty God has entertained the desire of his free willed creation. Not out of obligation but in divine love. He sent his son to answer the subpoena and take the stand. After living the perfect example of righteous character, the Christ was cross examined by a world leader and his title and role were questioned, “So you are a king?” Jesus answered, “You say that I am a king. For this purpose I was born and for this purpose I have come into the world—to bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth listens to my voice.”
This has revealed the answer to pour a solid foundation to all things we desire to understand. So, I petition that we all listen to this testimony of truth and start with a clear and open mind. Only then will we discover a peace that surpasses human understanding. I have, and that is why my enemies have fallen and hold no power over me. I do not fear the darkness because I have been reconciled to our Creator and will forever be covered by the light.
